Eloise is the tenth of fourteen children and was raised in North Carolina. Over 30 plus years ago, while on vacation, she fell in love with the Bay Area and decided to stay. She has been a REALTOR since 2004, and a REALTIST since 2010. She spent the prior years at American President Lines in marketing and sales. It only seemed a natural progression to move into real estate with her background in sales, marketing and her passion for helping others. As a REALTOR/REALTIST, she  enjoy serving her community, she is  dedicated to serving her family, friends and clients as well as the opportunity to work with her husband, Dennis, who is a CPA who has worked in the Oakland/ Montclair area for the past 25 years. Ryan Porter is the third of five children raised in Oakland, California.  He entered the real estate profession after completing a successful career of both front line, and project managerial roles in the transportation industry.  He combines his knowledge of managing large projects with an intense passion to help people achieve their goals.  Real estate has been the perfect convergence of his extensive skill set and his need to help people.  His local knowledge of the bay area accompanied with the need to help improve his community have laid the groundwork for helping his family, friends, and clients with all of their real estate needs.  Ryan is extremely proud to be a part of the ERG team.


A graduate of University of California at Davis with a degree in Political Science, Ryan went on to manage several city transportation sites, specializing in transporting the elderly and disabled which helped to maintain their independence.  He also worked as a flight attendant for southwest taking care of the needs of thousands of passengers with a servants heart. This background has provided Ryan with a specific skillset in successfully identifying the needs of his clients and aggressively addressing them.


Ryan inherited the “workout bug” from his mother.  He loves outdoor activities with his wife and watching and talking about sports. 


Ryan’s goal everyday is to be the man that he wants his two sons to become.


Karen Carter

As a fourth generation, lifelong east bay resident, Karen has deep knowledge of the communities, schools, and micro-climates that make up the wonderfully diverse Bay Area. Karen is passionate about helping people find their perfect home and helping them navigate the process with ease. She uses her sharp negotiation skills and brings strategic thinking to transactions that allows her clients to make the best decision in any situation. She builds trusting relationships with her clients and leverages her strong connections in the agent community to her clients’ advantage. She is an expert listener and a patient teacher when it comes to making sure her clients understand each step of the process. 

Before becoming a realtor, Karen spent more than a decade as a Berkeley public school elementary teacher, and prior to that, she worked many years as a publicist, marketing manager and fundraiser. She attended San Francisco State University, and has a bachelor’s degree in public relations, a teaching credential, and a master’s degree in education. In her free time, you can often find her writing, exploring the east bay hiking trails, or planning her next adventure.

Francisco, or Frank, was born in The Dominican Republic and immigrated, as a toddler, with his parents, to New York. He spent his childhood traveling back and forth between New York and Santo Domingo. This inspired a deep love for both of his countries. Upon completion of high school, Frank enlisted in the United States Navy. He proudly served fourteen years. He was brought to the Bay Area when he was stationed at the Naval Air Station Alameda. He fell in love with the Bay Area and has made Oakland his home for the last forty years. Frank has worked in various aspects of real estate (mortgage lending, property management, and Vacation rental sales) for almost twenty years. Frank is passionate about real estate. He most enjoys helping veterans and immigrants realize their dreams of home ownership. With a vast experience in Bay Area real estate, Frank looks to connect his clients with their dream homes, despite a competitive market. When not serving his clients, Frank enjoys spending time with his wife and their friends. He is a golfer, a volunteer at the Alameda County Food Bank, and an avid Bay Area sports fan.
